| Log in to more than one computer |
| |
Can a single user log in to more than one computer? |
| |
Yes, a user may login as the same user on multiple computers.
This is what it does: - allows the user to keep all "Personal" folders in sync (in other words, their top level Personal Calendar, Contact and Tasks folders will be all in sync across all the computers that they are logged into)
- allows the user to have the same "shared" folders on all the computers that they are logged into.
This is very handy for those users that wish to keep their "home-office" computer or laptop in sync with their "office" computer.
However, you may not "login" / "logout" as different users on a specific computer. This causes significant Outlook pst file corruption (and one of the reasons why we grey-out the login window after you login initially). |
