What is my computer's IP Address

Question:
How do find out what the IP Address is for the XCN Server host computer?

Answer:
To find the IP address of the XCN Server host computer:

Windows:
- Open a DOS command window (Start -> Run -> enter "cmd"
- enter "ipconfig"
- look for the line item: IP Address...

OS X
Two ways to find it:
1. go to "System Preferences"
- select "Network" -> select the "TCP/IP" tab
- you will see a line item noting the IP Address

2. Open a Terminal window (Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal)
- enter "ifconfig"
- look for the section starting with "en0" and the line item starting with "inet".

Linux:
- Open a Terminal window (Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal)
- enter "ifconfig"
- look for the section starting with "en0" and the line item starting with "inet".
