Integrating with your MySQL - keeping user data

Question:
How do I keep my user data after integrating with my instance of MySQL?

Answer:
When you integrate with an existing instance of MySQL, it resets the XCN database.

To use data that you previously entered make sure both instances of MySQL are shutdown, and then copy the files from:
Linux:  /usr/xcnetwork/data/mysql/xcnetwork
Windows: c:/mysql/data/xcnetwork,
OS X:  /Applications/Xchange Network Server/data/mysql/xcnetwork

to:
Linux:  [mysql_dir]/data/xcnetwork,
Windows: [mysql_dir]/data/xcnetwork,,
OS X:  /Applications/[mysql_dir]/data/xcnetwork,

overwriting the ones present there.

Next, start your instance of MySQL and the Xchange Network Server.  This should make the integrated xcnetwork database the same as your original one and the users and permissions that you previously entered will be there.
