| Data location for XC Connect data (OSX host) |
| |
Can the XC Connect data on the XCN Server (OSX host) be stored in a different location other than the default location? |

This is what you need to do: 1. In the usr/local/xcnetwork/xcconnect/properties/ modify the file "xcserver.properties" (or by Finder: Applications / Xchange Network Server / xcconnect / properties ) itemXmlDirectory=/usr/xcnetwork/data/itemxml to read: itemXmlDirectory=[location of data] This will enable the XCN Server to store the "data" items (which is the bulk of your storage requirements) at that location. 2. Copy the file "xcserver.properties" from usr/local/xcnetwork/xcconnect/properties/ ( Applications / Xchange Network Server / xcconnect / properties ) to: usr/local/xcnetwork/tomcat/webapps/xcnetwork/WEB-INF/classes ( Applications / Xchange Network Server / tomcat / webapps / xcnetwork / WEB-INF / classes ) overwriting the file already there. 3. Create a folder at the new location, for example: xcnetwork/itemxml 4. If you have already synchronized data then you will want to copy the contents of usr/xcnetwork/data/itemxml to the new location of the data 5. restart the XCN Server Applications / Xchange Network Server / Stop server and Applications / Xchange Network Server / Start server and you are done! |
