| Changing user name on Evolution Connector |

How can I configure the Evolution Connector for a different user? |

This applies only to Evolution users.
If you need to change the username or allow a new user to use a computer, please CAREFULLY follow the steps below.
Please note, if this user has previously logged in and synced to the server from a different computer, it will cause the XCN Server to populate this new computer with the data from their previously synced Address Book and Calendar.
1. Stop the Evolution Connector
2. edit the file:
~/evolution-connector/evolution-connector.properties
You should see a line like this:
emailAddress=[email address]
Just change [email address] to be whatever you need it to be.
3. Start the Evolution connector again.
We make this a manual process to prevent duplicates. |
