| Error message: Can't connect to Outlook? |
| |
Why am I getting the Error message: Can't connect to Outlook? |
| |
There are a couple of possible reasons: 1. Make sure that the XC Connect Client is up before Outlook is started. It should start automatically on reboot and you should see the blue XCN icon in your system tray. Then when you open Outlook, it should attach automatically to Outlook. If you still get that error, then go to # 2 below: 2. (a little more complex) In your Registry, under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ we are expecting to see the key 'Outlook.Application' followed by the key 'Outlook.Application.11' (or some number, might be 9, 10 or 12...). Please confirm these keys are there. If those keys are not there then we cannot attach to Outlook. If they are not there, please contact support@xcnetwork.com and we will provide you with a script that will insert that key for you. |
